Kariyam Nisaram

The film follows the Unnithan and Ammini Kutty family, as their daughters Parvathi and Sarala navigate love, marriage, and family drama, ultimately leading to a separation between Unnithan and Ammini Kutty until their son-in-law steps in to reunite them. Kariyam Nisaram is a 1983 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Family motion picture starring Prem Nazir, Balachandra Menon, Lakshmi, Poornima Jayaram, K.p. Ummer, Jalaja and Sukumari Bhimsingh. Century Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Raju Mathew. The motion picture is written and directed by Balachandra Menon. Century Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Kariyam Nisaram was released on 1st January 1983. Cinematography was done by Anandakuttan and editing by G. Venkitaramanan. The music was composed by Kannur Rajan along with Johnson.
