Bounty hunters from the future transport a doomed race car driver to New York City in 2009, where his mind will be replaced with that of a dead billionaire. Freejack is a 1992 English-language Action Crime motion picture starring Emilio Estevez, Mick Jagger, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins, Jonathan Banks, David Johansen and Aaron Weiler. The movie is inspired from Immortality Inc. by Robert Sheckley. Morgan Creek Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ronald Shusett and Stuart Oken. Freejack is written by Robert Sheckley, Steven Pressfield, Ronald Shusett and Dan Gilroy and it is directed by Geoff Murphy. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Freejack was released on 17th January 1992 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Freejack was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $17 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Steven Pressfield, Ronald Shusett and Dan Gilroy. Cinematography was done by Amir Mokri and editing by Dennis Virkler. The music was composed by Trevor Jones.
