Forensic is a Malayalam thriller film about a police officer who seeks the help of a forensic team to track down a child serial killer in Trivandrum, eventually uncovering a web of secrets and hidden motives to catch the killer. Forensic is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language Crime Thriller motion picture starring Tovino Thomas, Mamta Mohandas, Reba Monica John, Srikant Murali, Saiju Kurup, Prathap K Pothan and Karthik Manikandan. Juvis Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Siju Mathew and Navis Xaviour. Forensic is written by Akhil Paul and Akhil Paul-anas Khan and it is directed by Akhil Paul and Akhil Paul & Anas Khan. Century Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Forensic was released on 28th February 2020 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. Forensic was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹15 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Akhil Paul-Anas Khan. Cinematography was done by Akhil George and editing by Shameer Muhammed. The music was composed by Jakes Bejoy.
