Bees Saal Baad

A spirit seeks revenge for a young girl raped by a Thakur and kills the Thakur and his son, but the story picks up 20 years later with Kumar, the Thakurs grandson, who remains skeptical of the spirits existence until he hears a singing voice and discovers a connection with Radha, leading them to uncover the truth behind the spirits vengeance. Bees Saal Baad is a 1962 Indian Hindi-language Thriller Musical movie featuring Waheeda Rehman, Madan Puri, Asit Sen, Biswajeet Chatterjee, Manmohan Krishna, Sajjan and Prem Kumar. The movie is inspired from The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle Nishithini Bivishika by Hemendra Kumar Roy. Geetanjali Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hemanta Mukherjee and Hemant Kumar. Bees Saal Baad is written by Dhruva Chatterjee, Dev Kishan and Devkishen and it is directed by Biren Nag. Geetanjali Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bees Saal Baad was released on 1st January 1962. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dhruva Chatterjee. Cinematography was done by Marshall Braganza and editing by Keshav Nanda. The music was composed by National Award winner Hemanta Mukherjee along with Hemant Kumar.
