Awake

Jill Adams, a former Army medic and recovering addict, steals drugs from a research lab to sell, but after a car accident and the drowning and revival of her daughter Matilda, they discover a military base called The Hub where a woman can sleep and decide to go there, only to find out there is no cure for the sleep disorder and the military captures them, but Matildas ability to sleep leads to scientific discoveries about chimps and the cause of the sleep disorder, and while Jill rescues Matilda and wakes up, Noah is taken away for experiments. Awake is a 2007 American Japanese-language Crime Drama film featuring Gina Rodriguez, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Barry Pepper, Finn Jones, Shamier Anderson, Ariana Greenblatt and Nikky Smedley. Awake was Produced by Vikramaditya Motwane and Paul Schiff. The movie is directed by Mark Raso. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Awake was released on 30th November 2007 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Mark Raso and Joseph Raso. Cinematography was done by Alan Poon and editing by Michele Conroy. The music was composed by Antonio Pinto.
