True Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohsin Ali Khan, Meesam Ali Khan and Hoori Ali Khan. Ya Rab is written by Ikram Akhtar and directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala. Vishesh Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ya Rab was released on 7th February 2014 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. Ya Rab was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹27 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Virendra Singh Patyal. Editing was done by Sanjay Ingle. The music was composed by Nadeem Akhtar Saifi along with Amjad - Nadeem.
