Coco (Empoy Marquez), is a simple jeepney barker who falls in love with Bella (Sky Carlos). Desperate to prove himself to Bellas family, Coco puts his life on the line to save Bella and the rest of his loved ones from kidnappers. The Barker is a 2017 American Tagalog-language Comedy movie featuring Milton Sills, Dorothy Mackaill, Betty Compson, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Empoy Marquez, Shy Carlos and Jeric Raval. The movie is based on The Barker by Kenyon Nicholson. First National Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Al Rockett and Richard A. Rowland. The Barker is written by Benjamin Glazer, Joseph Jackson and Herman J. Mankiewicz and it is directed by George Fitzmaurice. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Barker was released on 25th October 2017 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. Cinematography was done by Lee Garmes and editing by Stuart Heisler. The music was composed by Louis Silvers.
