Pakalpooram

A young Brahmin and his friend pose as priests to recover documents that will give him his rights in ancestral property, but encounter a haunted place with a vampire that he must fight just as his father did. Pakalpooram is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language Horror Drama motion picture featuring Geethu Mohandas, Kavitha Jose, Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisree Ashokan, Babu Namboothiri, Salim Kumar and Sangeetha Thambi. Pakalpooram was Produced by Santhosh Damodharan. Pakalpooram is written by Rajan Kiriyath and directed by Anil Kumar, Babu Pisharadi and Babu Narayanan. Damor Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the film. Pakalpooram was released on 19th April 2002 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Pakalpooram was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹7 crore. Cinematography was done by Shaji and editing by P. C. Mohanan. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Raveendran along with Lyrics - S Ramesan Nair.
