An orphan from Bosnia named Salih turns 18, searches for his parents, and discovers that his biological mother is married to a cobbler named Mirsad; however, his search for evidence of his mothers rape during the war leads him to befriend the neighbor, Borislav, resulting in a tragic confrontation and uncertain fates for everyone involved.
