Horror War Drama Thriller Fantasy
A woman in war-torn Tehran experiences strange occurrences and haunted nightmares as she stays with her daughter, but eventually escapes the evil spirit with her daughter, though the possibility of the haunting continuing remains. Under the Shadow is a 2016 Persian-language Horror War motion picture starring Narges Rashidi, Avin Manshadi, Bobby Naderi, Ray Haratian, Arash Marandi, Aram Ghasemy and Khalid Zamamiri. Wigwam Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Emily Leo, Oliver Roskill and Lucan Toh. Under the Shadow is written by Babak Anvari and Theresa Buchheister and it is directed by Babak Anvari. XYZ Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Under the Shadow was released on 4th October 2017 and takes a screen time of 84 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $0 million. Cinematography was done by Kit Fraser and editing by Christopher Barwell. The music was composed by Gavin Cullen along with Will Mcgillivray.
