Lalanam

Lalanam is a Malayalam drama that explores the challenges faced by a child born through artificial insemination, emphasizing the psychological impact of parental rejection and societal perception towards artificial children, while highlighting the importance of compassion and acceptance within families. Lalanam is a 1996 Indian Malayalam-language movie featuring Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar, Vinaya Prasad, Baby Shamili, Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, Jose Pellissery and N.f. Varghese. Thandu Films was the production house involved in the project. The movie is directed by K. Sarath Chandra Sekhar Rao and Chandrasekharan. Thandu Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Editing was done by G. Murali. The music was composed by S. P. Venkatesh.
