An aspiring film director faces financial struggles while producing his first film based on the life of his native Moidukka, and despite submitting it for consideration at the National Awards and Oscars, his hopes for recognition begin to dwindle, prompting him to create a new film based on his experiences. And The Oscar Goes To is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language Drama movie featuring Tovino Thomas, Anu Sithara, Sreenivasan, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Amber Shaun and Sudheesh Scaria. Allens Media in association with Canadian Movie. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Salim Ahamed, Prasanthkumar Chandran and Tp Sudheesh. The movie is written and directed by Salim Ahmed and Salim Ahamed. Kalasangham Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. And The Oscar Goes To was released on 21st June 2019 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. Cinematography was done by Madhu Ambat and editing by Vijay Shankar. The music was composed by Bijibal.
