In this story, Rukmini and Siddharth develop feelings for each other despite Rukmini being engaged to someone else, creating a dilemma for Rukmini. Jaanu is a 2012 Indian Kannada-language Action Drama motion picture starring Yash, Deepa Sannidhi, Rangayana Raghu, Madhu Guruswamy, Sadhu Kokila, K Shobharaj and Ravi Varma. Jayanna Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) N Jayanna and Bhogendra. Jaanu is written by Gururaj M. Desai, Preetham Gubbi, Jayana Bhogendra, N Jayanna and Gururaj. M. Desai and it is directed by Preetham Gubbi. Jayanna Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jaanu was released on 1st June 2012 and takes a screen time of 2-17 minutes. Jaanu was made on a budget of ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Preetham Gubbi. Cinematography was done by S. Krishna and editing by Deepu. S. Kumar. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna.
