    • Tambay Obenson

Brought to life by local Chicagoans, both in front of and behind the camera, South Side succeeds in what it sets out to do: give viewers a more complete, if humorous depiction of life on Chicagos south side. ( Read More )

    • Jacob Oller

South Side isnt here to play in Atlantas haunting surrealism or find pathos with its imperfect families, and thats just fine. Its wild, weird, and 100% worth visiting on its own merits. ( Read More )

    • Brad Newsome

Series co creator Salahuddin is a hugely appealing performer, and his scripts are well packed with funny gags and interesting observations about black life and culture. A real gem. ( Read More )

    • Melanie McFarland
