This story set in France during World War I follows the lives of four women – Marguerite, a prostitute, Caroline, inheriting her familys factory, Agnes, the Mother Superior of a invaded convent, and Suzanne, a nurse – as they face the devastating consequences of war, navigate personal traumas, and highlight the resilience and courage of women during times of conflict. Women at War is a 1965 French-language Drama History television series starring Audrey Fleurot, Julie De Bona, Camille Lou, Sofia Essa Di, Sofia Essaïdi, Sandrine Bonnaire and Robin Migné. Quad Drama was the production house involved in the project. The series is directed by Alexandre Laurent. Series originally aired on TF1. Creator of the series is C cile Lorne.
