Investigative journalist Rae de Leon exposes a disheartening pattern of young women reporting sexual assault being accused of filing false reports and further victimized by being arrested and imprisoned, challenging societys perception of rape culture and biased attitudes, as she aims to bring attention to the tragic consequences these survivors face and urge society to confront its failings and seek justice for them. Victim/Suspect is a 2023 American English-language Documentary Crime film featuring Rachel De Leon, Amanda Pike, Lisa Avalos, Dyanie Bermeo, Carlton Hershman, Melissa Hordichuk and Sacha Smith. Victim/Suspect was Produced by Nancy Schwartzman, Rachel De Leon, Christopher Clements, Julie Goldman, Alice Henty and Amanda Pike. The movie is directed by Nancy Schwartzman. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Victim/Suspect was released on 23rd May 2023 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. Cinematography was done by Jenni Morello and editing by Inbal B. Lessner and Kim Roberts. The music was composed by Morgan Kibby.
