Thungabhadra

This story tells of Tunga and Bhadras forbidden love, their struggles against family and society, and the unwavering support of Bhadras friends in proving his innocence as they navigate the challenges of pursuing love and staying together. Thungabhadra is a 1995 Indian Kannada-language Drama motion picture featuring Mohanlal, Prabhu Ganesan, Tabu, Vineeth, Amrish Puri, John Kolvenbach and Alex Draper. Pranavam Arts in association with Shogun Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohanlal and R. Mohan. The movie is directed by Priyadarshan. Pranamam Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Thungabhadra was released on 1st January 1995 and takes a screen time of 178 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by T. Damodaran and Priyadarshan. Cinematography was done by Santosh Sivan and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Hamsalekha along with Ilaiyaraaja.
