Sinhaya

A humble tuition teacher named Weerasinghe takes care of ten homeless children with the help of a mentally challenged woman named Punchi akka, while facing opposition from a cunning man named Sabhapathithuma who wants his house, but with the support of a journalist named Hasitha, Weerasinghe discovers and uses his late fathers invention of an invisible watch to protect the children and save Hasitha when she is kidnapped, eventually leading to Sabhapathithumas downfall and the children considering Weerasinghe as their father, with Hasitha confessing her feelings for him and revealing the truth about Sathyamithra. Sinhaya is a 2016 Sinhala-language Family Fantasy film featuring Ranjan Ramanayake, Maheshi Madushanka, Sanath Gunathilake, Duruthu Abhishek, Udeni Alwis, Gayathree Dias and Ananda Wickramage. Sinhaya was Produced by Sunil T.fernando. The movie is written and directed by V.sivadasan. Sinhaya was released on 30th March 2016. Cinematography was done by Sujith Nishantha and editing by Nanda Nandi Jayakodi. The music was composed by Somapala Rathnayake.
