Patnavasam was Produced by Hanumantha Rao Ghattamaneni and N. G. John. Patnavasam is written by Rajashri Raju and T. Damodaran and it is directed by P. Chandrasekhara Reddy and I. V. Sasi. Geo Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Patnavasam was released on 1st January 1978. Cinematography was done by S. S. Chandramohan and C. E. Babu and editing by K. Narayanan. The music was composed by Shyam.
