The movie is based on Flashfire by Donald E. Westlake. Incentive Filmed Entertainment in association with Sierra Pictures and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Taylor Hackford, Sidney Kimmel, Les Alexander, Steven Chasman and Jonathan Mitchell. Parker is written by John J. Mclaughlin and Donald E. Westlake and it is directed by Taylor Hackford. FilmDistrict acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
