Doni

In this story, Malathi and Senaka have two children and are expecting a third, but are told that the child was stillborn; however, they later discover that the baby is alive and has been cared for by a nurse named Laalani, but she suffers from developmental issues and struggles with family interactions, while Senaka witnesses a crime and is forced to withdraw his statement or risk his children being kidnapped, leading Bandu, an ex-convict neighbor, to defend the family and ultimately save Senaka from the criminals, resulting in Nileshas recovery and improved heart condition. Doni is a 2013 Sinhala-language Drama Family movie featuring Kamal Addararachchi, Sangeetha Weeraratne, Sanath Gunathilake, Menuli Ellawala, Kamal Addaraarachchi, Rangana Premarathna and Ayodhya Dakshika. Doni was Produced by Sunil T. Films. The film is written and directed by V. Sivadasan. Doni was released on 19th December 2013. Cinematography was done by Sujith Nishantha and editing by Anusha Sanjeewa. The music was composed by Somapala Rathnayake.
