Krishna and Devi move to Mauritius for work, where Devi becomes suspicious of Krishnas behavior and discovers that he is possessed by two ghosts who use him to woo their love interests and later get caught up in a kidnapping plot by a man named Rudra. Devi 2 is written by Vijay and directed by A. L. Vijay. Screen Scene Media Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Devi 2 was released on 31st May 2019 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Devi 2 was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹43 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by A. L. Vijay and Sathya. Cinematography was done by Ayananka Bose and editing by Anthony. The music was composed by National Award winner Gopi Sundar along with Sam C. S.
