A wealthy woman named Aisha who enjoys playing matchmaker among her friends realizes her arrogance and selfishness when her friend Shefali is heartbroken and confesses her own feelings to their mutual friend Arjun, causing Aisha to question her matchmaking abilities and ultimately acknowledge that love is spontaneous and unpredictable. Aisha is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Amrita Puri, Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh, Masood Akhtar and Karamjeet Madonna. PVR Pictures in association with Anil Kapoor Films Company and MAD Entertainment Ltd. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anil Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda and Rhea Kapoor. Aisha is written by Jane Austen, Devika Bhagat, Ritu Bhatia and Manu Rishi Chadha and it is directed by Rajshree Ojha. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Aisha was released on 6th August 2010. Aisha was made on a budget of ₹18 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹15 crore. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi.
