Wolf Hall

A drama about the rise of Cromwell in the court of Henry VIII and his personal and political struggles, as he becomes a close advisor to the king during a difficult period for England. Wolf Hall is a 2015 English-language series featuring Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis, Claire Foy, Bernard Hill, Anton Lesser, Mark Gatiss and Jonathan Pryce. The series is based on Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel. Company Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mark Pybus. Wolf Hall is written by Peter Straughan and directed by Peter Kosminsky. Series originally aired on BBC Two. BBC Worldwide acquired the distribution rights for the television series. The series has a running time of 60-65 minutes for each episode. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by Gavin Finney. The music was composed by Original Music By along with Debbie Wiseman, Tudor Music By and Claire Van Kampen.
