We Are Family

Maya, a divorced mother of three, involves her ex-husbands girlfriend, Shreya, in their childrens lives, but when an incident happens, Shreya is kept away until Maya discovers she has cancer and asks Shreya to take care of the kids after her passing, leading to Shreya marrying Aman and becoming the guardian of the children. We Are Family is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family film starring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol Devgn, Amrita Prakash, Harry Key and Pompy Hans. The movie is based on Stepmom. Dharma Productions in association with Columbia Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar. We Are Family is written by Niranjan Iyengar and Venita Coelho and it is directed by Siddharth Malhotra and Siddharth P. Malhotra. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. We Are Family was released on 3rd September 2010 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. We Are Family was made on a budget of ₹30 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹21 crore. Cinematography was done by K.U. Mohanan and editing by Deepa Bhatia. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Raju Singh and Clinton Cerejo.
