Written by WGN America Underground is a 2016 American English-language Adventure Drama television series starring Jurnee Smollett-bell, Aldis Hodge, Jessica De Gouw, Alano Miller, Christopher Meloni, Amirah Vann and Dawntavia Bullard. Afemme in association with Get Lifted Film Company, Weed Road Pictures, Safehouse Pictures, Wandering Rocks Productions, Tribune Studios and Sony Pictures Television. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) W. Mark Mcnair. Series originally aired on WGN America in English. Sony Pictures Television acquired the distribution rights for the television show. Creators of the series include Misha Green and Joe Pokaski. Underground has 2 seasons and a cumulative total of 20 episodes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by Evans Brown, Hernan Ota o and Kevin McKnight. The music was composed by Laura Karpman along with Raphael Saadiq.
