The motion picture is written and directed by James Cameron. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Titanic was released on 18th December 1997 and takes a screen time of 195 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Titanic was made on a budget of $200 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $2 billion. Cinematography was done by Russell Carpenter and editing by Conrad Buff, James Cameron and Richard A. Harris. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner James Horner. At the 1998 Oscar Awards It won 11 awards including: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Best Costume Design, Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Effects, Sound Effects Editing, Best Effects, Visual Effects, Best Music, Original Song and Best Music, Original Dramatic Score.
