The Sixties

CNN has partnered with Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman, and Mark Herzog to create a ten-part documentary series on the 1960s that covers music, politics, drug culture, technical advancements, and free love, providing insight from those who witnessed it first hand and shedding light on events that shaped present-day society. The Sixties is a 2014 American English-language Documentary History show featuring John Heilemann, Robert Dallek, Tim Naftali, Dan Rather, Morley Safer, Douglas Brinkley and Robert Culp. CNN in association with Playtone and Herzog & Company. were the production houses involved in the project. Series originally aired on CNN. The Sixties has only one season and a cumulative total of 10 episodes which have a running time of 60 minutes each.
