The Road to Calvary

This series explores the pre-World War I era and follows the lives of the Bulavina sisters as their infatuation with a decadent poet leads to a change in their perspectives and an anticipation of Russias downfall, while the subsequent war and revolution disrupts their peaceful life and causes the sisters to take different paths.
