In a post-apocalyptic Scandinavia, Danish siblings Simone and Rasmus search for their missing scientist father while navigating the dangers and obstacles of a world devastated by a deadly virus, hoping to find answers and potentially a cure. The Rain is a 2018 Danish-language television series starring Alba August, Lucas Lynggaard T Nnesen, Mikkel F Lsgaard, Lukas L Kken, Jessica Dinnage, Sonny Lindberg and Rex Leonard. Miso Film was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Christian Potalivo. The Rain is written by Jannik Tai Mosholt, Lasse Kyed Rasmussen, Marie Sterbye, Poul Berg and Mette Heeno and it is directed by Kenneth Kainz and Natasha Arthy. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the series. Creators of the series include Jannik Tai Mosholt, Esben Toft Jacobsen and Christian Potalivo. The Rain has 3 seasons and a cumulative total of 20 episodes which have a running time of 35-48 minutes each. Cinematography was done by Jesper T ffner and Rasmus Heise.
