An interesting suspense drama The Lie is the story of parents who try to cover up their daughter s lethal mistake. The consequences they face while doing so and the outcome is what forms the crux of the story. The film stars Mireille Enos, Peter Sarsgaard, and Joey King. The Principal photography began in January 2018 and it was filmed in the Toronto area, Canada. The film was directed by Veena Sud under the working title Between the Earth and the Sky. The film was produced by Jason Blum, Alix Madigan, and Christopher Tricarico for Blumhouse Productions, Mad Dog Films, and Bitter Boy Productions and was distributed by Amazon Studios. This Canadian film premiered at TIFF in Toronto in September 2018. The music was composed by Tamar-kali. Adept cinematography by Peter Wunstorf and clear cut editing by Phil Fowler makes it a watchable movie. The film was released on October 6, 2020, and occupies screentime of 97 minutes. An R certificate for the movie was provided by the MPAA.
