Three doctors find themselves trapped in a secretive village infected with a new strain of the Zika virus, as they navigate the communitys dynamics and unravel the truth behind their situation while also contending with a mysterious leader possessing supernatural healing abilities. The Chosen One is a 2019 English-language Mystery Thriller series featuring Nedelea Dragos Gabriel, Nedelea Mihaela Gabriela, Nedelea David Alexandru, Nedelea Cattleya Maria, Paloma Bernardi, Alli Willow and Fernando Teixeira. The series is based on Ni o Santo by Pedro Peirano Mauricio Karz. Mixer Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Larry Johnson. The Chosen One is written by Raphael Draccon and Carolina Munh Z and it is directed by Michel Tikhomiroff and Max Calligaris. Buena Vista Television acquired the distribution rights for the series. The Chosen One has 2 seasons and a cumulative total of 12 episodes. Cinematography was done by H lcio Alem o Nagamine and Rodrigo Reis. The music was composed by Kat Green along with Billy Lincoln and Adam Berry.
