The Alienist

The Alienist: Angel of Darkness revolves around an investigation carried out by criminal psychologist Laszlo Kreizler who is employed by Police commissioner Theodore Roosevelt to catch a serial killer preying on homeless boys. This English series features Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans, Brian Geraghty, Robert Ray Wisdom, Douglas Smith, Matthew Shear, Q'orianka Kilcher, Matt Lintz, Dakota Fanning, Rosy McEwen, and Melanie Field. This crime mystery series was directed by David Caffrey, Jakob Verbruggen, Clare Kilner, Paco Cabezas, James Hawes, Jamie Payne, and David Petrarca. It was produced by Kari Hobson, Gergö Balika, Howard Ellis, and Adam Goodman and edited by Matt Platts-Mills, Dermot Diskin, Cheryl Potter, Nick Arthurs, Philip Kloss, Martin Nicholson, Tanya M. Swerling, Katie Weiland, Liyana Mansor, and Jay Prychidny. The cinematography was handled by Larry Smith, Cathal Watters, P.J. Dillon, Chris Seager, Gavin Struthers, and Alejandro Martínez and the music was composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams and The Haxan Cloak. In this series, each episode has a running time of approximately 42–53 mins and it is based on the 1994 novel of the same name written by Caleb Carr.
