Pre-school fun, fantasy and education with colourful rotund characters Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a magical land called Teletubbyland. Teletubbies is a 2009 English-language series featuring Dave Thompson, Simon Shelton, John Simmit, Nikky Smedley, Pui Fan Lee, Mark Dean and Luisa Guerreiro. Ragdoll Productions in association with BBC, DHX Media, Darrall Macqueen and InGenious. were the production houses involved in the project. The series premiered on 31 March 1997, 16 February 2001, 9 November 2015 in English on BBC Two. BBC Worldwide acquired the distribution rights for the series. Creators of the series include Ragdoll Productions , Darrall Macqueen, Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport. Teletubbies has 5 seasons and a cumulative total of 365 episodes which have a running time of 25-15 minutes each. The music was composed by Andrew Mccorrie-shand along with Robert Hartley, Bbc Philharmonic, Richie Webb and Matt Katz.
