The series is based on Taken by Luc Besson Robert Mark Kamen. FLW Films in association with EuropaCorp Television, Universal Television, Boomerang Productions and Matthew Gross Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Luc Besson. Series originally aired on NBC in English. NBCUniversal Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the show. Creator of the series is Alexander Cary.
