Deep Space Nine is a space station near Bajor controlled by the United Federation of Planets, led by Commander Sisko who is considered a religious figure, and the station becomes a center for exploration, trade, and conflict, facing threats from various alien races, including the Dominion, while also showcasing ongoing story arcs, interpersonal conflicts, and a more cynical portrayal of human nature and the Federation. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is a 1993 American English-language Action Adventure show featuring Avery Brooks, Ren Auberjonois, Terry Farrell, Cirroc Lofton, Colm Meaney, Armin Shimerman and John Colicos. The series is based on Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry. Paramount Domestic Television was the production house involved in the project. Paramount Domestic Television acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creators of the series include Rick Berman and Michael Piller.
