A 14-year-old boy in Kashmir finds a gun and is lured into a darker side of his nature, leading to several deaths and uncovering a game played by militants, the army, politicians, and religious leaders of the town, revealing how child psychology can be molded into making terrorists. Sikandar is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language Crime Drama motion picture featuring Parzan Dastur, Ayesha Kapur, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Suri, Ayesha Kapoor, R Madhavan and Rahul Singh. Sikandar was Produced by Sudhir Mishra. Sikandar is written by Piyush Jha and Kumaar and it is directed by Piyush Jha. BIG Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Sikandar was released on 20th August 2009 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Sikandar was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹58 lakh. Cinematography was done by Somak Mukherjee and editing by Dev Jadhav. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Sandesh Shandilya and Justin-uday.
