The series follows the life of God Shani Dev, exploring his upbringing, challenges, marriages, curses, and eventual triumphs, all while dealing with family hardships and facing various enemies. Shani is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language show featuring Kartikey Malviya, Juhi Parmar, Tarun Khanna, Rohit Khurana, Tina Datta, Salil Ankola and Kunal Bakshi. Swastik Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Gayatri Gill Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary. Shani is written by Utkarsh Naithani, Siddharth Kumar Tewary Raj Routh and Vinod Sharma and it is directed by Kamal Monga, Sumit Thakur and Gurpreet Rana. Series originally aired on Colors TV. Viacom 18 acquired the distribution rights for the television show. Creator of the series is Siddharth Kumar Tewary. Shani has only one season and a cumulative total of 346 episodes which have a running time of 22 minutes each. Shani was released on 7th November 2016 and takes a screen time of 22 minutes for each episode. The music was composed by Jitesh Panchal along with Shyam Chetri.
