Painkiller is a 2023 American English-language Crime Drama television show starring Uzo Aduba, Matthew Broderick, Taylor Kitsch, Dina Shihabi, West Duchovny, Carolina Bartczak and Daniel Kash. The series is based on The Family That Built an Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe Pain Killer: An Empire of Deceit and the Origin of America s Opioid Epidemic by Barry Meier. The series is directed by Peter Berg. Series originally aired on Netflix. Creators of the series include Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster. The show made a box office gross of $1 million.
