Paanch Phoron

The upcoming project by Hoichoi, called Paanch Phoron, will showcase five directors telling different romantic stories with love as the common theme, in varied styles and formats. Paanch Phoron is a 2019 bengali-language Romance show starring Kenneth Branagh, Siam Ahmed, Joya Ahsan, Krittika Chakraborty, Rawnok Hasan, Anirban Bhattacharya and Ritwika Pal. Left Bank Pictures in association with Yellow Bird and TKBC. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Daniel Ahlqvist, Simon Moseley and Sanne Wohlenberg. Paanch Phoron is written by Henning Mankell, Richard Cottan, Peter Harness and Richard Mcbrien and it is directed by Philip Martin, Niall Maccormick and Benjamin Caron. Series originally aired on BBC One in bengali. The television series has a running time of 89 minutes for each episode. Cinematography was done by Anthony Dod Mantle, Jan Jonaeus, Igor Martinovic and Lukas Strebel and editing by Tony Cranstoun, Kristina Hetherington and Tim Porter. The music was composed by Martin Phipps along with Vince Pope.
