Line of Duty

After a mistaken shooting during a counter-terrorist operation, Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott is transferred to AC-12, a police anti-corruption unit led by Superintendent Hastings. Alongside Detective Constable Kate Fleming, they are assigned to lead an investigation into the alleged corruption by a popular and successful officer, Detective Chief Inspector Tony Gates. While Gates cleverly manipulates his unit's figures, DS Arnott questions whether Gates is being made a scapegoat for a culture of institutionalized spin, or is guilty of darker corruption. Written by World Productions Line of Duty is a 2012 English-language Crime Drama television series featuring Martin Compston, Vicky Mcclure, Adrian Dunbar, Craig Parkinson, Lennie James, Keeley Hawes and Elizabeth Rider. World Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jed Mercurio, Peter Norris and Cait Collins. The series is directed by David Caffrey, Douglas Mackinnon and Daniel Nettheim. The series premiered on 26 June 2012 in English on BBC Two. Kew Media acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Jed Mercurio. The show has a running time of 57 minutes for each episode. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by Ruairi O'Brien , Peter Robertson , Anna Valdez Hanks and Stephen Murphy. The music was composed by Carly Paradis.
