Last Chance U is a 2016 Documentary Sport series about Elite athletes with difficult pasts who turn to junior college football for the last shot at turning their lives around and achieving their dreams. This English series starring Ron Ollie, Frank Wilson Jr., Jason Brown, Becca Zimmerman, John III Franklin, Brittany Wagner, and Buddy Stephens was directed by Greg Whiteley, Adam Ridley, and Luke Lorentzen. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the series. Last Chance U has 5 seasons and a cumulative of 40 episodes which have a running time of 52-76 minutes each and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The music was composed by Yuri Tom Nek along with Joseph Minadeo and was produced by Joe Labracio, Adam Leibowitz, Dawn Ostroff, Adam Ridley, Lucas Smith, James D. Stern, and Greg Whiteley. Adept Cinematography by Terry Zumalt and Gabriel Patay and clear cut editing by David Nordstrom and Jody McVeigh-Schultz makes it a watchable series. Interestingly Isaiah Wright who was seen in the first two seasons was arrested in the summer of 2017 in connection with the stabbing of a man in Tennessee. The series premiered on July 29, 2016, in Netflix.
