Maya Menon, a well-respected TV journalist, accidentally hits a young girl while driving, covers up the incident and faces the guilt and consequences along with others involved, as they question whether the truth will ever be revealed. Jalsa is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language Drama Thriller motion picture starring Vidya Balan, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul, Shefali Shetty, Rohini Hattangadi, Sofiya Khan and Udayveer Singh Yadav. Jalsa was Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Shikhaa Sharma, Suresh Triveni, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra. Jalsa is written by Prajwal Chandrashekar, Suresh Triveni, Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal and it is directed by Suresh Triveni. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Jalsa was released on 18th March 2022 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. Cinematography was done by Saurabh Goswami and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker. The music was composed by Gaurav Chatterji along with Salvage Audio Collective.
