Whalerock Industries in association with Denver & Delilah Productions. were the production houses involved in the project. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Hyperdrive has only one season and a cumulative total of 10 episodes which have a running time of 45-60 minutes each. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The music was composed by David Vanacore.
