The show follows a power-hungry politician, Frank Underwood, and his wife, Claire, as they use manipulation and cunning tactics to gain and maintain power, eventually leading to Claire becoming president with uncertain future. House of Cards is a 2013 American English-language Drama show starring Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Derek Cecil, Lamont Easter, Nathan Darrow and Patricia Clarkson. The series is based on House of Cards by Michael Dobbs House of Cards by Andrew Davies. Media Rights Capital in association with Trigger Street Productions, Wade/Thomas Productions and Knight Takes King Productions. were the production houses involved in the project. Netflix Streaming Services acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Beau Willimon. House of Cards has 6 seasons and a cumulative total of 73 episodes which have a running time of 42-60 minutes each. Cinematography was done by David M. Dunlap, Igor Martinovic, Eigil Bryld and Martin Ahlgren. The music was composed by Jeff Beal.
