Hibana: Spark

In Tokyo, a young comedian and his partner meet an older comedian named Kamiya, who agrees to mentor them but only if the young comedian writes his biography, leading to a journey of self-discovery and friendship as they navigate the world of traditional Japanese comedy. Hibana: Spark is a 2016 Japanese Japanese-language series featuring Kento Hayashi, Kazuki Namioka, Mugi Kadowaki, Masao Yoshii, Hideaki Murata, Nahana and Kaoru Kobayashi. The series is inspired from Hibana by Naoki Matayoshi. Endor Productions in association with Agatha Christie Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Akihiko Okamoto, Keiichi Yoshizaki, David Lee and Noriyasu Kamiki. The series is directed by Ry Ichi Hiroki, Kazuya Shiraishi and Shuichi Okita. The screenplay for the series was written by Masato Kato, Miyuki Takahashi and Yuko Kato. The music was composed by K Ji Ueno along with T Ru Ishitsuka.
