The series is set in Hemlock Grove, a town with extreme wealth and poverty where the Godfrey Institute and Hemlock Acres Hospital play important roles, as Olivia Godfrey leads the institute while Dr. Norman Godfrey is the lead psychiatrist at the hospital, and the first season focuses on the investigation of the brutal murder of two teenage girls with suspicion falling on Peter, a Romani boy rumored to be a werewolf, and his partnership with Roman Godfrey, the troubled heir, while season two introduces a dangerous cult aiming to eradicate supernatural creatures and both Peter and Roman confront their own inner struggles. Hemlock Grove is a 2013 American English-language Horror Mystery series starring Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsg Rd, Landon Liboiron, Penelope Mitchell, Kandyse Mcclure, Freya Tingley and Paul Popowich. The series is based on Hemlock Grove by Brian McGreevy. Gaumont International Television in association with ShineBox SMC, United Bongo Drum and Inc. were the production houses involved in the project. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the series. Creators of the series include Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman. Hemlock Grove has 3 seasons and a cumulative total of 33 episodes which have a running time of 45-58 minutes each. The music was composed by Nathan Barr along with Todd Haberman.
