An FBI profiler is brought in to help catch a serial killer and is assigned to a forensic psychiatrist, who secretly is also a killer, leading to a manipulative and dangerous relationship that challenges the protagonists sanity and blurs moral boundaries. Hannibal is a 2013 American English-language Crime Drama television series featuring Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen, Caroline Dhavernas, Hettienne Park, Laurence Fishburne, Scott Thompson and Tom Wisdom. The series is based on Characters from Red Dragon by Thomas Harris. Dino de Laurentiis Company in association with Living Dead Guy Productions, AXN Original Productions and Gaumont International Television. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Carol Dunn Trussell, Michael Wray and Don Mancini. Sony Pictures Television acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Bryan Fuller. Hannibal has 3 seasons and a cumulative total of 39 episodes which have a running time of 43 minutes each. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by James Hawkinson and Karim Hussain. The music was composed by Brian Reitzell.
