A military general turned goblin seeks to end his immortality by finding the Goblins bride, while his nephew rents his house to a Grim Reaper, and their fates become intertwined with a high school girl and a person running a chicken store. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God is a 2016 Korean Korean-language television show starring Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Lee Dong-wook, Yoo In-na and Yook Sung-jae. Hwa&Dam Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joo Kyung-ha and Kim Ji-yeon. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God is written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Lee Eung-bok, Kwon Hyuk-chan and Yoon Jong-ho. tvN acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Studio Dragon. The series has a running time of 60-90 minutes for each episode. Cinematography was done by Park Sung-yong and Kang Yoon-soon. The music was composed by Nam Hye-seung.
