After the death of their father, the Dollanganger children are locked in their grandmothers attic, suffer mistreatment, plan their escape, and seek revenge on their neglectful mother. Flowers is a 2014 English-language Drama television series featuring Heather Graham, Ellen Burstyn, Kiernan Shipka, Mason Dye, Ava Telek, Itziar Ituño and David Sucharípa. The series is based on Flowers in the Attic by V. C. Andrews. Front Street Pictures in association with Inc., Cue the Dog Productions and Fries Film Company. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Harvey Kahn and Damian Ganczewski. Flowers is written by Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño and Jose Mari Goenaga and it is directed by Jon Garaño, Jose Mari Goenaga and Deborah Chow. Lifetime Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the show. Flowers was released on 14th May 2015 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes for each episode. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The screenplay for the series was written by Kayla Alpert. Cinematography was done by Miroslaw Baszak. The music was composed by Mario Grigorov.
